I- Messianic Calendar established on the
basis of the Jubilee Calendar:
For several years now, we have been striving to discover
the Hebrew roots of the faith. For that, we used a
traditional Jewish calendar that we inserted into the
Gregorian calendar that everyone uses officially.
1. This Gregorian calendar allowed us to locate the
main events and religious festivals practiced in
France. What were their origins? What were their
spiritual meanings? Were they founded or not on
the Holy Scriptures? You will find some answers on
www.alecoledeyeshoua.com, our site.
2. This gave us the opportunity to locate and discover
Jewish holidays. The goal was to learn to discern
their interests through Yeshua HaMashia‘h, the One
who is called THE CHRIST. The traditional Jewish
calendar that we used was a lunar-like calendar,
th
fixed on the solar calendar by the addition of a 13
month every 3 years. This traditional Jewish
calendar is the one used today by the vast majority
of practicing Jews around the world. This Jewish
calendar reflects the calendar that the Sadducees
and Pharisees used at the time of the coming of
Yeshua as a man on earth. He therefore has a
certain interest that we will discover together in
the next 2-3 years, God willing.
3. But we have since learned, through the discovery of
the Dead Sea Manuscripts, that in the time of
Yeshua there were several calendars. We have the
proof, indeed, after a few years of experience and
the study of these manuscripts that the Believers in
Yeshua used a very old calendar, called "Calendar
of Jubilees" different from that used by the
Pharisees of the time, who used a lunar calendar.
We know, among other things, that in the year of
his death, Yeshua celebrated the Passover of The
Everlasting on Tuesday evening with his disciples,
at the same time as the Passover of The Everlasting
practiced by those who followed this famous
Calendar of Jubilees. That year, the Passover of
The Everlasting, practiced by the Pharisees, took
place on a Thursday and therefore began to be
celebrated on a Wednesday evening. Therefore,
Yeshua died on the cross on a Wednesday at 3pm
according to the scriptures to resurrect 3 days and
3 nights later according to the scriptures. It is
indeed, the configuration of the week which allows
to answer perfectly all the verses of the Scriptures.
4. In addition, through the excellent book by Denis
Grenier titled "The Gospel of Mark in the Calendar",

we discovered that the 1 century believers were
taught about the message of Yeshua to the rhythm
of a annual system consisting of 54 weekly readings,
called "parashiot". "Parashiot" is the plural of the
Hebrew word "parasha" which means "portion". A
"parasha" is a portion of the Torah read on every
Shabbat by Jewish believers. But at that time the
non-Jewish believers from the nations followed the
same system of reading. This is, again, a further
proof that CHRISTIANITY taught by Yeshua and his
followers is a JEWISH CHRISTIANITY, essentially
JEWISH, exclusively JEWISH. The following
passages: Lk 4:16 to 17, Acts 13:15, Acts 15:21
show clearly that all believers read the Scriptures
every Shabbat according to an annual reading
cycle. Jewish and non-jewish believers were taught
about the Torah, the Prophets and the Psalms since
the writings of the Brit 'Hadasha (the Renewed
Covenant) will only be available 30 years later !!!...
5. On the basis of Denis Grenier's book entitled "The
Gospel of Mark in the Calendar", we therefore tried
to set up the practice of Marc's reading system in
correspondence with the parashiot reading. We can
thus discover how the spiritual education of the

believers in Yeshua of the 1 century was made. But
it is clear that we are encountering inconsistencies in
the weekly schedule of the lunar calendar.
This was inevitable because the 1 century believers
used the "Calendar of Jubilees". In fact, this calendar
was used for a very long time in spiritual circles of
the « Nazoraios » type... which means, "Consecrated
Consecrator"
6. In the Dead Sea Manuscripts, we have discovered
other interesting documents. The Book of Jubilees
and the book of Enoch have found enough
information to restore the solar calendar of Jubilees.
Denis Grenier's book "The Gospel of Mark in the
Calendar" allows us, moreover, to reconstruct the

spiritual formation as it could exist in the 1 century
according to this same calendar.
This is an essential tool to better understand the
message of Yeshua and that of the disciples of
Yeshua, especially on the Hebrew roots of the faith
in the first century. We know now how were formed
the Nazoraios of the time, Which means the
"Consecrated Consecrator" on the Hebrew roots of
the faith.
7. In summary, the Calendar of Jubilees is a solar
calendar of 364 days. The 364 days are divided into 4
quarters of 13 weeks each. Each quarter consists of 2
months of 30 days and 1 month of 31 days.
The solar year of the Jubilee Calendar has 12
months of 30 days plus 1 day at the end of each
quarter as indicated by the Manuscripts of the Dead
Sea be therefore 91 days (4Q328).
The year always starts on a Wednesday because

Wednesday is the 4 day of the week. And it was
the fourth day that the Everlasting placed the
lights: the sun and the moon, in the sky to fix the
Feasts, the days and the years (Gen 1:14 to 19).
Thus, if the spiritual year begins on a Wednesday,
all the Feasts of the Everlasting will never fall on
the seventh day of the week, a Shabbat day. This
calendar is extremely practical. All Feasts and
Shabbats are fixed and always take place year after
